Bringing this amazing local charity to a wider audience
At the heart of Wiltshire’s community, Salisbury Hospice provides critical care to 1,000 patients with life-limiting conditions each year. The hospice’s charity depends largely on local fundraising and donations so their online presence is crucial.
I was brought in to lead content creation for the new website. This project was particularly meaningful for me, as I’ve seen first-hand the essential role Salisbury Hospice plays in our local area.
What I delivered
The charity’s existing site had two key issues: it was difficult to navigate and overwhelmed visitors with dense text. Working with the marketing team, we focused on two core objectives:
- making it easier for potential donors and fundraisers to understand and support the hospice’s work
- providing clear, accessible information for patients and their families.
The impact
The new site strikes this balance well. We created clear and engaging content that better serves both audiences. The hospice team is delighted with the results, and most importantly, they now have website that truly conveys the amazing work they do within our local community.
