About the client
GO! Southampton is the Southampton Business Improvement District (BID), dedicated to promoting local businesses in the area, bringing in investment, and working with local agencies and the police to tackle crime and anti-social behavior.
The project
When GO! Southampton needed a mid-term review to showcase their achievements, the team approached me for help. Their previous copywriter had let them down, and they needed someone to step in, get up to speed quickly, and deliver an exceptional brochure.
The solution
After a briefing session and thorough research, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. The goal was to create an engaging and informative document that highlighted the BID’s incredible impact on the local business community. Pulling together information from interviews, research and reports, I produced compelling copy filled with inspirational local stories and impressive facts and figures
Despite the exceptionally tight timescales, I delivered the copy on time and to a high standard. The team was delighted, sharing their thanks for turning the project around so efficiently.
A continued partnership
Following the success of this project, the team asked me to write their re-election campaign brochure. This document, distributed to major businesses in the area, captured the key highlights and successes from their first term in office and business plans for the next five years.
This campaign was a success and GO! Southampton secured a second term in office.
