Making photos the hero: website content for a Surrey photographer
When a Hampshire-based corporate event photographer asked me to create content for his new website, he had a clear brief. He wanted words that would complement his stunning images, not compete with them.
The challenge
How do you tell a photographer’s story when their work already speaks volumes? The words needed to highlight my client’s expertise and services without overshadowing the visuals.
Finding the balance
Working closely with the photographer, we created website content that:
- guides visitors through his services
- supports rather than dominates the visuals (and doesn’t overload the reader with information)
- helps potential clients find him online through SEO-friendly words
- makes it easy for potential clients to take the next step.
The result
By keeping the writing clear and purposeful, we created content that guides visitors through my client’s services, without drawing attention away from his portfolio. The copy is also carefully optimised for search engines, helping my client achieve top Google rankings for important local searches.
My client was delighted with the results and the new website has helped him attract new clients locally and further afield.
